TRE

TRE® is a series of exercises that help the body come back HOMR: releasing deep muscular patterns of stress, tension and trauma.

You can practice alone, or with a Certified TRE Provider (like me: I am recently graduated so offering very reduced fees for sessions currently) in either a 121 or group setting.

TRE uses seven core movements to activates a natural reflex mechanism (forgotten by humans but seen in the animal kingdom), of shaking or vibrating that releases muscular tension, calming down the nervous system.

When this muscular shaking/vibrating mechanism is activated in a safe and controlled environment, the body is able to return back to a state of balance (HOMEostasis).

This shaking of the muscles causes deep relaxation that naturally reduces stress levels and can release stored-up emotions.

I like to use it about once or twice a week to release work stress, worry, conflict in relationships, physical stress or once I even used it in a hospital to cope with trauma from an accident.
